One of the most common conceptions of contemporary beauty contains the image of the perfect smile. This, interestingly enough, is somewhat more standard over time and culture than other measures of beauty. Where body shapes, hair styles, and facial features can depend entirely on the fashion of the day, or place, a smile is generally uniform. This, of course, translates as bright white , and relatively straight teeth. What is most remarkable about this image is that it actually does have a holding in reality. Compared to other beauty standards, that is something that is rather the exception than the rule.
For those who are looking into medical careers, that can be rewarding. The time spent in dental assistant school will eventually result in helping people to take care of their best asset. Most standards of beauty really don’t have correspondences in reality, where what is considered attractive is a sign of good health. More often than not, these are really extremes of physicality, and the extremes become the norm, or at least what is accepted as beautiful. With teeth, however, it’s a very different story. Clean teeth are a sign of good health, and a smile without gaps also suggests a certain vitality. Like shiny hair, they reflect proper nutrition, along with attention to oneself, which usually results in better health.
Avoiding ambulance chasers is a concern when you’ve been involved in an accident. If you think you have a valid claim for a personal injury lawsuit , you are going to need an attorney, but you want it to be someone who cares about your case, not someone who is just going to do minimal work to get the minimal settlement and move on to the next case.
First ask for referrals from friends and family members. You may also want to check the state bar association or local law directories. If all else fails, look to the internet and phone book.
You will need to do research on the list of lawyers you come up with in order to weed it down to three to five prospects. Check their websites to learn about their education, experience, and win-loss record in personal injury cases. If you can’t find that information online, it is okay to cal the firm and ask some initial screening questions.
Then it is a matter of setting up initial consultations with your short list of lawyers. Ask them specific questions about their experience with cases similar to yours and get their opinion on your case. They should be able to tell you their general strategy and how long it will take for your case to move through the courts . They should be upfront about how much of the work will be done be associates and assistants and how and when you will be billed for their services.
Armed with those answers, you should be able to choose the lawyer that you think will do the best job for you.
